Shant earned his juris doctor from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, and he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California, Irvine. As a law student, Shant served as a judicial extern to the Honorable David O. Carter and an associate editor of the UC Irvine Law Review. After law school, he began his career representing employees and seeking justice for workers.
