Billy graduated from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law, where he served as a senior editor on the Southern California Law Review and published an article entitled: “Taking the Fight Back to Title VII: A Case for Redefining because of Sex to Include Gender Stereotypes, Sexual Orientation, and Gender Identity.” Billy began his legal career as a management-side employment attorney at an AmLaw 100 law firm in Los Angeles, eventually leading that firm’s national wage and hour class action practice group. Billy also served as the President of Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Los Angeles County and regularly gives presentations on cutting-edge wage and hour issues.
